Assignment Description SELECTION FOR CONSULTANTS BY THE WORLD BANK GROUP REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Electronic Submissions through World Bank Group eConsultant2 https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1273624 - Updated Baseline Assessment and Post-Implementation Monitoring Tool for STEP Assignment Countries: - Egypt, Arab Republic of ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The Smart Technology and Energy Efficient Production Program was launched in 2015 to at improve the competitiveness of Egyptian industries by lowering their energy use, encouraging energy efficiency practices, and facilitating the growth of Egypts domestic energy efficient technology manufacturing sector. As the implementation phase of the project comes to an end, the project seeks to identify and account for its key achievements as well as track progress against select outcome and impact indicators. Leveraging previous analytical studies conducted by IFC during the lifetime of the project, the aims is to: (i) develop an updated baseline assessment of motors falling within the scope of the decree by energy class. (ii) devise a methodology for developing a monitoring tool to track progress against select outcome and impact indicators. The methodology should be designed in a way that allows for clear attribution of the targets to project activities. (iii) annual monitoring of progress against project targets will be conducted in 2021 and then for a period of three (3) years. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest.
