- Quotation are invited for Supplying, Installing, Inspecting and Testing a Set of Fire Pumps (Jockey - Electric - Diesel) Firefighting System 1 Electric Drive Pump Supplying, installing, inspecting and testing a set of fire pumps (Jockey - Electric - Diesel). The group includes an electric pump for pumping firefighting water that gives a discharge of no less than 500 gallons / min at pressure 8 bar of the centrifugal type, powered by electricity approximately 75HP. It is complete with the engine, electrical control and all accessories. The unit complies with the requirements of NFPA20. The unit shall give a discharge rate of about 150% of the required conductivity at a pressure of no less than 65% of the required pressure.The unit shall be of the horizontal type, and the motor shall be of the Squirrel Cage type, and shall be insulated with CLASS F insulation. Supplement to the pump suction pipe with OS&Y gate valve and a pressure gauge attached to it, a delivery pipe with OS&Y gate valve attached to it and a pressure gauge and a nonreturn valve The motor is able to run the pump + 15% of the full load The unit shall be placed on a steel base and shall be equipped with vibration dampers The unit shall be equipped with pressure gauges on the suction and delivery lines, with a diameter of not less than 10 cm, and it shall have a range of not less than twice the design pressure, and it shall be complete with valves. The set shall be complete with all contents, special parts and all that is needed for installation, operation and testing in accordance with the technical specifications and NFPA20 and all that is necessary to complete the work completely in accordance with drawings, specifications and instructions of the supervising engineer. It also includes a pump for pumping firefighting water that gives a discharge of no less than 500 gallons / min at pressurer 8 bar of the centrifugal type driven by a diesel engine and has the following specifications: The diesel engine shall comply with all requirements of NFPA20, and shall be of the type designated for managing the fire pump. The diesel engine shall be of the type Self Contained, and shall be placed on a suitable base with anti-vibration, and shall have the following accessories in addition to any accessories according to the manufacturer: Two sets of batteries required for operation with capacities indicated in NFPA20 complete with operating inclusions. An electric march with a suitable generator and voltage regulator. Jockey Pump Supply, test, commission and hand over of protected Vertical electric drive Jockey pump of (25 gpm @ 9 bar) approximately 5HP, d, complete with control panel, pump accessories, fittings, valves, supports and all accessories to complete the works. Fire Water Tanks 6 Supply, test, commission and hand over fire water tank made of high-quality polyethylene with a capacity of 20 cubic meters, consists of three layers, the first outer layer is white to reduce the temperature of the sun, the second layer in the middle is black to darken the inside of the tank to prevent the formation of algae, the third layer is the inner color White with high purity.
