- General Procurement Notice for Provide Integrated Sanitation Systems for Villages “Clusters” by Collecting and Treating Wastewater Generated in Rural Areas in Upper Egypt (Luxor) INTEGRATED RURAL SANITATION IN UPPER EGYPT (IRSUE-LUXOR) Component 1: Increasing Access to Integrated and Improved Sanitation System. Key Activities: • Development of a Sewerage Network Connecting Households to Centralized System. • Construction of Pumping Stations According to Geography and Population Locations. • Construction of Two Wastewater Treatment Plan to Connect at Least 22,000 Households Component 2: Improved Operational System and Practices of Lwwc; And Key Activities: • Enhance Technical, Environmental, and Financial and Social Sustainability of Intervention. • Design and Validate Piap Component 3: Strengthening the National Sector Institutional Framework.
