Funding Details The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named contract(s). Additional financing information: Co-financing for the Project will be provided by the European Investment Bank ("EIB") in the amount of EUR 126 Million and by EU Neighbourhood Investment Facility ("NIF") under a grant in the amount of EUR 30 Million. 2. Information on the Procurement Exercise Contracts will be subject to the Bank`s Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents. The type of contract and the procurement method is stated above. A full description of the procurement exercise is available within the documentation and is available free of charge in ECEPP. The documentation will include such information as: detailed technical and financial requirements; any information on lots; the expected outcome; eligibility and qualification requirements; contract start date; planned contract duration; any response requirements; any other relevant information. Other Information The Scope of Works for this Contract is to Design Build and Supervision of Operation and Maintenance of Zawyet Al Karadsah Wastewater Treatment Plant so that the final effluent quality satisfies the requirements. The Contractor shall design wastewater treatment plant with tertiary treatment of an ultimate capacity of 19,800 m3/d as a replacement of the existing WWTP. However, in this Contract (Stage 1), the Contractor shall design, install, and provide supervision of Operation and Maintenance of a wastewater plant of capacity 13,200 m3/d. 4.
