- IFC is seeking to hire an internationalconsulting firm with the expertise in construction sector specifically in GreenBuildings Sector to work on delivering a training course to develop Greenbuilding materials data base for manufacturers in Egypt. A. GreenBuilding Materials Data Base: 1. The consulting firm isrequired to provide capacity building - training to the technical team of HBRCto develop guidelines for building materials for manufacturers. TheseGuidelines will include:· Datarequired from the manufacturers for the establishment of the Egyptian GreenBuilding Materials Data Base. · Selectionof Priority Materials is based upon the commonly used materials in the Egyptiancontext (e.g., cement, steel, concrete, brick, ceramic, aluminum, and glass). · Environmentalindicators to be reported for life cycle assessment are the Embodied Energybased on primary energy and the Global Warming Potential (GWP). Ø The training coursecompromises the following:1) Lifecycle Inventory data collection process and sheets: · Examplesof data sheets per unit process. · Identificationof system boundary for the selected building material industries.· Descriptionof the required data to be collected for the calculations including Productionroutes and technologies for each material.· Descriptionof data collection procedures.· Validationof data including (i) data quality assessment, and ii) treatment of missingdata.· Criteriafor the inclusion of inputs (energy-water and material) and defining measuringunits.· Calculationprocedures.· Outputdata (waste- emissions-material) defining measuring units.2) Processingthe data throughout all stages: · Production(A1-A3)· Construction(A4- A5)· Use(B1- B7)· Endof life (C1- C4)· Benefitsand loads beyond system Boundary: Recycle- Reuse - Recovery (D)Providingexcel sheets with equations for the calculations and the final output for thedeveloping of green building materials data base.Explaininghow the collected data from the manufactures could be used by sof...
