- Long Term Agreement to recruit a national institution to conduct data collection, secondary analysis, develop knowledge products and trainingBACKGROUNDThe government of Egypt and development partners have conducted several household surveys in the past two years to fill in data gaps related to socio- economic indicators in order to enhance the monitoring of SDGs and support the policy debate based on solid evidence. Routine surveys such as DHS/FHS 2021, HIECS and phone-based surveys conducted by UNICEF and UN agencies contain massive data on population, health, nutrition, child protection, WASH, poverty, climate change etc. In 2023-24 thematic surveys are expected to be conducted to provide data on female circumcision, child labour, youth, disability etc. These surveys will provide wealth of information to guide the interventions and programmes of UNICEF, development partners and policy makers.In this context UNICEF Egypt Country Office proposes to engage research institutions in the country in a Long Term Agreement (LTA) modality with a national institution to conduct (i) data collection activities such as Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, Face to Face interviews;...
