- Expression of Interest are invited for Agriculture and Food Systems Performance and Options for Competitiveness Enhancing Policies in Egypt Assignment Description: The World Bank is conducting a study Agriculture and Food Systems Performance and Options for Competitiveness Enhancing Policies on the agriculture and food sector of Egypt, with the objective to identify policy incentives and options to align the governments agri-food policies with climate-smart development approaches. The study, divided into four parts, will provide context and policy options for supporting the governments agenda by formulating specific recommendations to contribute to the achievement of the National Structural Reforms Programs main objectives for the agri-food sector, with focus on climate-smart agricultural policies. The WBG is looking for a consulting firm to undertake one part of the study focused on supporting agri-food SMEs to adopt and scale climate technologies. The study is organized around two pillars: 1) Review of the existing policy and institutional landscape for agri-food SMEs to adopt climate technologies; and 2) Identification of green/climate finance instruments to enable agri-food SMEs to pilot climate technologies in selected value chains
