- Tenders are invited for Youth Innovation Lab for Climate Action in Egypt Technical Support Consultancy - October 2022 Save the Children International (SCI) Middle East, North Africa and Eastern Europe-s Regional Office is organising a Youth Innovation Lab (YIL) in Alexandria to bring young activists together to ideate, discuss, design and collaborate towards finding solutions for issues related to climate change that affect young people-s lives, and society at large, in Egypt. The YIL aims to provide young people with a setting in which they can apply themselves and work together to find innovative, sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by their own communities because of climate change. During the YIL, participants will be introduced to design thinking methods and will have the opportunity to meet, share and work together towards climate resilience. Through this YIL cycle, we encourage participants to share their experiences in working on climate change and get connected with new social enterprises and opportunities to innovate from existing solutions or to invent new solutions to the exacerbating climate crisis, bringing to the foreground the role of young people as agents of change.
