- Tenders are invited for Study on Best Practices on Addressing Challenges Hindering Women-s Entrepreneurs The Arab Republic of Egypt has received Grant from the African Development Bank to assist in the financing of the Enhancement of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for conducting two assignments as follows: 1. Scope of Work of the First Assignment: is to highlight the main obstacles that face women in becoming entrepreneurs, with tangible recommendations towards addressing them. 2. Scope of Work for The Second Assignment: consists of reviewing the available and new financing mechanisms used by Egyptian startups, identifying the related shortcomings, and then reviewing available innovative mechanisms used elsewhere and making recommendations on their adaptability to the Egyptian Context. 3. The General Authority for investment and free zones - Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Project invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services for above assignments. Interested individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions). . 4. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank-s Procurement Framework, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank-s website at http://www.afdb.org. 5. Interested consultants may obtain further information and could ask for the full text of TOR at the address below during office hours, Sunday - Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Egypt local time. Interested applicants should send their Curriculum Vitae (CV), along with cover letter & proof of professional certificates in English language mentioning the Title of the study and its reference on or before January 2 nd 2022 @ 2:00 pm Egypt standard time, by email below. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview.
